Regional Parks

Mission has many Regional and Provincial Parks.  Cascade Falls is just one of many parks in Mission.  Cascade Falls is a 9.5  hectare park known for its spectacular waterfall which drops 30 meters into a large pool then continues on as Cascade Creek.

Clarke Foundation Theatre

Opened in 1996 this facility is a 702 seat performing arts theatre. Features include a sprung dance floor, orchestra pit, and 20 trap doors in the stage.

Kilby Historic Site

A 1920s living history site features our 1906 general store museum, post office and Manchester House Hotel. Enjoy costumed interpreters, childrens activities and working heritage farm with friendly farm animals. Also on site is the Harrison River Restaurant featuring a traditional home style lunch menu, where everything is made from scratch.

Mission Museum

The museum building is a historic BC Mills prefabricated building brought to Mission in 1907 by train and assembled to house the Canadian Bank of Commerce. Today the museum preserves and presents Mission’s local pioneer history.

Westminster Abbey

Mission’s most famous landmark, this beautiful monastery attracts thousands of visitors. The Benedictine monks who inhabit the Abbey have created a self sufficient pastoral lifestyle at this inspiring location and welcome visitors to their grounds and for services.

Mission Raceway Park

The dragstrip at the Mission Raceway Park is often referred to as the “Best in the West” by racers from around North America. Mission Raceway Park is a multi-purpose motorsport facility consisting of a world class quarter mile dragstrip, a challenging 1.2 mile Road Course and a 1 mile Motocross Track.

Riding Stables

Just outside the city of Mission are many families with horses and stables.   We also have the Mission Horse Club which students can join to meet other riders.
